👉  Age-related Degeneration: As people age, tendons naturally lose elasticity and strength, making them more susceptible to wear and tear. This degeneration can lead to bicep tendinitis, especially in those who remain physically active.

👉  Acute Trauma or Injury: A sudden injury, such as a direct blow to the shoulder or an abrupt, forceful motion, can damage the biceps tendon, leading to tendinitis as the tendon becomes inflamed during the healing process.

👉  Rotator Cuff Issues: Problems with the rotator cuff muscles, such as tears or weakness, can alter the mechanics of the shoulder joint, placing additional strain on the biceps tendon and increasing the likelihood of developing tendinitis.
👉 Overuse and Repetitive Movements: Repetitive overhead activities, such as throwing, swimming, or weightlifting, can strain the biceps tendon, leading to inflammation and tendinitis over time.

👉  Improper Technique or Form: Using incorrect form during physical activities, especially in sports or weightlifting, can place excessive stress on the biceps tendon, increasing the risk of tendinitis.

👉  Shoulder Impingement: Conditions like shoulder impingement, where the tendon is pinched during arm movements, can cause irritation and inflammation of the biceps tendon, leading to tendinitis.
